We leave from our local departure points and travel to our base in Caernarfon for five nights. Hotel Celtic Royal.
Our centrally located hotel is a short walk from the heart of Caernarfon, a grand medieval town perched on the North Wales coastline. Famous for the 13th century castle, built as a royal palace and military fortress, Caernarfon also boasts narrow, picturesque streets and a stylishly redeveloped waterfront.
Our programme takes us to Bodnant Foods, set in the heart of the Conwy Valley offering spectacular views. A development of traditional 18th century farm buildings including a bakery, dairy and extensive farm shop, Bodnant Foods promotes the best of Welsh produce. We visit charming Betws-y-Coed, set in a beautiful valley in the Snowdonia Forest Park and tour the wonderful Isle of Anglesey, with its beautiful scenery, bays, beaches and the town with the longest name in Europe. Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwlllantysiliogogogoch!! We experience the highs and lows of Snowdonia National Park with a journey on the narrow gauge Llanberis Lake Railway, alongside Lake Padran with stunning views of Snowdon. We board the Snowdon Mountain Railway and savour the breath-taking views from Wales’s highest mountain. Unforgettable!
We return home after a wonderful Welsh coach holiday.
