    Tuesday – Friday – Cheltenham

Cheltenham, originally designed as a health resort for the wealthy, is the most complete Regency town in England, renowned for its refined elegance, Regency terraces and racecourse. Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, it is an ideal base to tour the surrounding area and a visit will be made to historic Cirencester, capital of the Cotswolds, with its ancient streets, magnificent parish church and bustling market place. We enjoy a relaxing cruise along the River Severn in Tewkesbury, a riverside town in Gloucestershire, where we have ample time to explore the famous network of alleyways and the medieval old town. We travel to Hereford, a cathedral city with the relaxed atmosphere of a country market town. Its origins date back to Saxon times and today visitors delight in the harmony of a rich heritage and modern facilities. We visit Oxford, the City of Dreaming Spires, renowned throughout the world as a centre of learning. A local guide will introduce us to the medieval charm of this university city. Time will be spent in Cheltenham, where we can soak up the atmosphere of this elegant spa town. Walk along the tree-lined Promenade, flanked by smart shops and marvel at the Regency town houses boasting intricate ironwork balconies.

    Saturday – Scotland

We return to Scotland after a wonderful coach holiday.
