Cheltenham, originally designed as a health resort for the wealthy, is the most complete Regency town in England, renowned for its refined elegance, Regency terraces and racecourse. Situated on the edge of the Cotswolds, it is an ideal base to tour the surrounding area and a visit will be made to historic Cirencester, capital of the Cotswolds, with its ancient streets, magnificent parish church and bustling market place. We enjoy a relaxing cruise along the River Severn in Tewkesbury, a riverside town in Gloucestershire, where we have ample time to explore the famous network of alleyways and the medieval old town. We travel to Hereford, a cathedral city with the relaxed atmosphere of a country market town.
