Monday: P&O Ferries
We leave from our local departure
points and drive to Hull where our
overnight ferry awaits for the
crossing to Rotterdam. Twin-berth
outside cabins. Dinner and
breakfast on board ship.
Tuesday: Franconia
We drive south to Germany and its
largest province, Bavaria, to spend
a peaceful night in Franconia. Drei
Franken Hotels.
Wednesday: Eugendorf
After a hearty breakfast we continue
south to Austria, the province of
Salzburg and our welcoming
country hotel in Eugendorf. Hotel
Schwaighofen.
Thursday: Grado This morning we drive through beautiful Carinthia to enter Italy at Villach. We continue south through the gentle countryside of Friuli- Venezia to arrive on the shores of the Adriatic and our charming resort, Grado: Hotel Fonzari.

Thursday to Wednesday:
Grado and Friuli-Venezia
Giulia.
Grado is simply a gem and our

the historic centre and one of the
finest beaches in the northern
Adriatic. Boutiques, shops, cafes
and restaurants delight the visitors
and our superb programme
includes visits to Udine and Cividale del Fruili, historic Trieste,

Aquileia and a romantic boat cruise
on the Adriatic.
Thursday: Innsbruck
We bid farewell to Grado and enjoy
a wonderful drive through the
Dolomite mountains to re-enter
Austria and spend the night in the
capital of Tyrol, Innsbruck. Hotel

Friday: Leutershausen
More splendid scenery awaits as
we drive via the spectacular Fern
Pass to enter Germany and north to
our welcoming night-stop in
Leutershausen. Hotel
Hirschberg.
Saturday: P&O Ferries
We drive via the Rhineland to
Rotterdam and our overnight ferry
to Hull. Twin-berth outside cabins.
Dinner and breakfast on board
ship.
Sunday: Scotland
We return to Scotland in the early
evening after a memorable Italian
holiday.
