Styria is the second largest of the nine Austrian
regions and lies in the south east of the
country.
We stay in the picturesque town of
Bruck, situated on the river Mur and
surrounded by the rolling mountain countryside
for which this region is famous.
Our
programme includes the local capital, Graz,
where we enjoy a guided tour of this historic
city.
We visit the world-famous pilgrimage
centre of Mariazell, the renowned Erzberg
mountain and we travel the south Styrian wine
road, with wine-tasting and snacks in a local
winery.
We spend two nights in Germany on
outward and return journey and travel is by
P&O Ferries in twin-berth outside cabins. |
