Monday: P&O Ferries
We leave from our local departure points and drive south to Hull where our ferry awaits for the overnight crossing to Rotterdam. Twin-berth outside cabins.
Dinner and breakfast on board ship.
Tuesday: Franconia
We drive south to Germany and its largest province, Bavaria, to spend a peaceful night in Franconia. Drei Franken Hotel.
Wednesday: Bad Hofgastein
We drive towards Munich and continue south east to Austria, the Gastein valley and our welcoming resort, Bad Hofgastein. Hotel Sendlhof.

Thursday to Wednesday
Nestling in the heart of this beautiful valley with heartrending views of the surrounding mountains, Bad Hofgastein is an exhilarating alpine spa, ideal for healthy relaxation.
We spend seven nights in the splendid Sendlhof enjoying warm Austrian hospitality, superb cuisine, luxurious rooms and an interesting programme which includes the Austrian Lake District, Zell am See and the city of Mozart, Salzburg.

It should read: This morning we bid a reluctant farewell to the Sendlhof and return to Germany, the province of Baden Wurtemburg and our night stop in Leutershausen.

Thursday: Rotterdam
We drive north to Rotterdam where our overnight ferry awaits for the crossing to Hull. Twin-berth outside cabins. Dinner and breakfast on board ship.
Friday: Scotland
We return to Scotland in the late afternoon after a remarkable holiday. |
